Courier reader: Lenora Hayman
Destination: Wellington, New Zealand
Favourite memories of trip: Lenora discovered the best way to enjoy New Zealand's capital city is on foot. As part of the "Walk Wellington" tour, she explored Wellington's waterfront and its dramatic new sculpture of nine kina-shaped (Maori for sea urchin) shells of varying sizes with the biggest being three metres in diameter. In New Zealand, the kina is a delicacy, traditionally eaten raw.
