Favourite memories of trip: The Imais visited Japan shortly after Typhoon Halong hit the area and visited Wakamatsu Park, where an 18-metre-tall statue of ’60s-era cartoon character Gigantor was erected 20 years ago after the Great Hanshin earthquake as a symbol of Kobe’s revival.
