A new, Eastern European-themed sportsbar called Sorry Babushka opens this week in the former Me & Julio location at 2095 Commercial Drive. There will be 90 seats inside and another 44 outside on the people-watching patio. They aim to show plenty of soccer, hockey, live music and comedy on their new stage.

A new Italian eatery called Pronto is opening this week in the old Arts Flowers & Gifts address at 3473 Cambie.
