British Columbians are now able to order groceries on-the-go and pick up 24/7 with Fresh St. Market's new Click & Collect refrigerated locker system. The BC-based grocer is the first retailer in Canada to bring remote refrigerated lockers for self-serve pick up of fresh and frozen grocery via smartphone technology. How does it work? A customer orders their groceries on the Fresh St. Market website, selects a time frame to pick up, a Fresh St. personal shopper secures the order in the Click & Collect locker, which can include anything from cereal, canned goods to fresh produce and ice cream. The customer is sent a text with a code to their smartphone, advising the order is ready for pick up. The customer punches in the code at the locker, the locker opens, and the customer collects their items. Available at the West Vancouver and Fleetwood locations.
