Truvelle Bridal store is saying “I do” to a new location in Gastown. The bridal shop recently opened a new storefront and is holding a party to celebrate its opening and new 2016 wedding gown collection, which features a cool-toned palette inspired by Vancouver’s grey winter days. Designer and owner Gaby Bayona uses silvery shimmer and metallic details for 2016 brides. French lace, hand-beaded bodices and dainty double straps are just a few of the charming details in the new pieces. Visit Truvelle.com to see the bridal beauties.

On Saturday, Sept. 26 UBC Robson Square (800 Robson) will play host to Vancouver’s Etsy: Made in Canada event, featuring popular local Etsy sellers showcasing their handmade and vintage goods. Seventy-eight local artists will be taking part in the second annual event, which runs from 10am to 5pm. Entry is free. Thirty-three cities across Canada will also hold Etsy marketplaces. See Etsy.com for more info.

It’s a seasonal event that fashion lovers line up for. The Vancouver Aritzia Warehouse Sale returns Thursday to Sunday at the Vancouver Convention Centre, and Aritzia is calling this year's event its “biggest warehouse sale ever,” featuring clothes that are 50 to 90 per cent off their original retail prices from brands like Talula, Wilfred, Community, Babaton, TNA, and more. New products will be put out every day of the sale, which includes spring/summer and fall/winter merchandise. Visit Aritzia.com and search “warehouse sale” for hours and directions. Be prepared to brave the masses for this one.
