You’re all invited! It’s cocktails and denim next week at Nordstrom Pacific Centre. Rag & bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville will be in store on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7 to 9pm for a cocktail party that will feature a mystery musical performance at 8pm. Customers who make a purchase at the event will receive a custom canvas rag & bone tote.

Montreal brands such as Bodybag, Eve Gravel, Annie 50, Dinh Ba, Melow, and Veinage showcased their SS16 collections as part of Agence Ka's Brands Bash on Oct. 15. Housed at the FX Building, Agence Ka represents over 15 clothing, bag and jewelry lines from Montreal and Vancouver designers. The collections ranged from '50s-inspired pencil skirts to novelty lobster prints to preppy eco-fashions and edgy leather bags. The made-in-Canada collections are available at stores across Vancouver including Spank, Twigg&hottie, Monarchy, Gatley, and Middle Sister Boutique.
MOSCOT, a New York City institution known for its iconic eyewear lines and which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary, will be in Vancouver for two upcoming Trunk Shows at Bruce Eyewear to show off the fall 2015 MOSCOT Originals and MOSCOT Spirit Collections, as well as styles and colours exclusive to MOSCOT’s New York City Shops, including The LEMTOSH in Flesh/Tortoise. The shows are on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11am to 6pm at BruceToo, 3553 Main, and Sunday, Oct. 25, from noon to 5pm at Bruce Eyewear, 219 Abbott.
In other Nordstrom news, Ivanka Trump will be appearing in store today, Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10am to noon. She will be presenting her apparel, handbag, and footwear collection for fall 2015, designed for women who work. Trump will be in Women’s Shoes, on the first floor. Customers will receive a custom note pad with any Ivanka Trump purchase.
