A fundraiser for United Way, the Fashionistas Ball is the brainchild of blogger Pixie Riddle who asked her fashion-forward friends, their even more stylish friends and their even more insufferably soigné friends across the entire country to donate pieces they cant fit into their regular wardrobe rotations anymore. In other words, if a well-heeled socialite in Westmount, Rosedale, or Shaughnessy cleaned house this year, theres a chance you could buy her labeled castoffs for a song: like Dries Van Notten wool slacks for $10 or a $2,500 Paul Smith suit for just $50.
