There’s no question that Victoria is producing some of the finest beer in Canada. Now, beer fans can celebrate the best of Vancouver Island beer with Victoria Beer Week, running from March 7-15.
This means one whole week of great beer in one of the most beautiful cities in North America. Joe Wiebe, festival co-founder and author of Craft Beer Revolution, says there will be a focus on Victoria and Vancouver Island beer, but breweries from all over BC will be participating.
Tickets are now on sale for the first four events announced: Opening Cask Night on March 7; Craft Beer Thunderdome, which will featuring 10 yet-to-be-released beers from popular BC breweries, on March 11; Brewmaster’s Brunch, featuring a six course brunch with beer pairing, on March 15; and the Closing Cask Night on March 15.
More events will be announced in January, including popular events from the 2014 festival: Beer, Cheese, More Beer; Victoria’s Best Brewery Crawls; the Craft Beer Revolution Town Hall; and Beer and Pizza.
Yes, there’s an event dedicated to Beer and Pizza. God may not exist, but whoever created this event certainly comes close.
