Pop that into a mortgage calculator and if you’re a first-time home-buyer putting down the minimum 5 per cent, you can afford a place for up to $267,500 for that much per month (mortgage payment plus property tax). So what will that $267,500 get you for a two-bedroom place? Here’s what it looks like in each community. Believe it or not, there’s even a few townhouses in the mix, though it will come as no surprise that they’re further out.
