Delta police and emergency were called to the scene of a serious collision on River Road early Sunday morning.
Details are limited, but according to Const. Sarah Swallow on a post on her Twitter feed, the collision was between 68thStreet (MacDonald Road) and 76thStreet (Ross Road).
That stretch of road was closed for approximately four hours while police investigated.
Global News reported Sunday morning that the collision involved a charter bus and that there was a fatality, but DPD have not confirmed any of those details.
