After the smoke and singing cleared, Italian fans on Commericial Drive in East Vancouver retreated to the sidewalks to congratulate each other (and engage the odd Spain supporter) over Italy's EURO 2012 finals berth (see VIDEO).
Mario Balotelli scored two impressive goals against Germany, and that was enough to seal Italy's semi-final win. Now they will meet Spain in the final on Sunday. The Spaniards beat Portugal via penalty kicks on Wednesday night to advance.
