Visitors to Stanley Park Thursday may notice a larger than usual police presence in the park.
Don’t be alarmed, the department’s emergency response team is taking part in a training exercise at HMCS Discovery, the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve shore facility on Deadman’s Island off Stanley Park.
The training will involve simulated injuries and gunfire.
