The name says it all the goal of the Rapid Access Breast Clinic at Mount Saint Josephs Hospital is to give women quick access to all the tests they need to diagnose and treat breast cancer.
To help it reach that goal, it needs a second mammography machine to reduce wait times.
On Saturday, May 12, the Eastside hospital is hosting Gala for Hope at the Riverside Grand Ballroom in Richmond to raise money for the machine.
The evening will be hosted by television personality Sukhi Ghuman and includes special performances by the Vancouver Academy of Music faculty string quartet, Kohinoor Folk Club and the Balladeers. The $75 also includes an Indian buffet dinner.
