A member of the Chickasaw Nation, Herrington shares tales of his extra and terrestrial adventures like orbiting the Earth and cycling across America in a free lecture at the H.R. SPARKLE AND SHINE: Mix fashion and philanthropy at the sixth annual Sparkle Gala Fundraiser benefiting the Starlight Childrens Foundation, Saturday, March 12 at Performance Works on Granville Island starting at 7pm.Hosts from CTV and the Vancouver Canucks organization lead an evening filled with live entertainment, including local jazz band Lesismore and a fashion show hosted by BC Fashion Weeks Vladimir Markovich. GOOD VIBES: Yoga in Daily Life founder and internationally renowned yoga master Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda (or Swamiji to devotees) gives two public lectures March 15 and 16 on Yoga the Path to Peace in Turbulent Times.
