Several Liberal MLAs have new opposition roles in the B.C. Legislature.
Today (March 27), BC Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson made changes to his shadow cabinet:
• Vancouver-Langara MLA Michael Lee is moving from transportation to the Attorney General;
• Richmond North-Centre MLA Teresa Wat is the new critic for multiculturalism;
• Peace River South MLA Mike Bernier is moving from education to oil and gas development;
• Kelowna-West MLA Ben Stewart becomes co-critic for Citizens’ Services and Trade;
• Boundary-Simikameen MLA Linda Larson is moving from childcare to agriculture; and
• Coquitlam-Burke Mountain MLA Joan Isaacs is critic for seniors care under the new health ministry critic Norm Letnick, who was the previous agriculture critic.
Long-serving Richmond-Steveston MLA John Yap remains as critic for Liquor, Gaming and ICBC.
