A Mount Pleasant Community Plan Implementation open house runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 15 at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, 1 Kingsway (South Plaza). Learn more about how the plan can be implemented and what it means for the future of the neighbourhood. Find out about revitalizing Broadway East, how Lower Main (Second to Seventh avenues) might change, a draft public realm plan for streets, open spaces and parks, and public benefits for the neighbourhood. Participants can share their thoughts and city staff will be available to answer questions. There will be free face painting and a stilt performance. The event goes ahead rain or shine.
