Multi-driver crash has some Highway 1 lanes in Burnaby closed

A multi-vehicle accident has turned the afternoon commute through Burnaby into chaos. As of 2:45 p.m., the right lane was blocked to traffic on Highway 1 eastbound, just before the Kensington exit, according to the Drive BC Twitter account.

A multi-vehicle accident has turned the afternoon commute through Burnaby into chaos.

As of 2:45 p.m., the right lane was blocked to traffic on Highway 1 eastbound, just before the Kensington exit, according to the Drive BC Twitter account.

Drive BC posted some photos showing a fire truck, ambulance and police vehicle. Expect delays if you drive the freeway.
