Canadian Pacific crews continued to remove gardens, brush and other debris from CP property along Arbutus Corridor Wednesday morning. These photos were taken just past 9 a.m., Feb. 11, north of 70th avenue.

The clearing work began Tuesday at the south end of the corridor. CP had sent residents notices indicating work to clear the land would resume Feb. 10 given the recent court ruling against the City of Vancouver, which dismissed the city's application for an injunction to halt clearing gardens and other obstructions along Arbutus Corridor.

"This phase of the clean-up will begin at West 70th Avenue and continue northward; this work will take approximately four weeks. Following this, we will move forward with any required infrastructure upgrades. Prior to any trains using our tracks along the Arbutus corridor, CP will ensure that there is the appropriate regulatory approval," the notice to residents reads.
