The 2013 Vancouver Police Dog calendar of police service dogs and their handlers is out now. Volunteers put the calendar together to raise money for the Candy Anfield Memorial Foundation, which honours a VPD officer who died of breast cancer in 2004. The calendar costs $10 and all of the proceeds will go to the B.C. Cancer Foundation. Approximately $15,000 was raised through sales last year. Calendars can be purchased online at studiofive-o.com/calendar.html or at a variety of locations including Tisol Pet Nutrition and Supply stores, the police public service counter at 3585 Graveley St., the B.C. Cancer Foundation at 2560 Heather St., and at community policing centres.
