Tobacco isnt the only habit that will kill you
For all the pitifully whiny anti-smoking ranters past present and future: The destruction of our health, clean air and earth caused by cars, overfishing, overpopulation, factory farms, etc. (all of which you will undoubtedly continue to support every single day of your life until you die of cancer or diabetes anyway) are real problems. End of story. But you are, of course, innocent and 100 per cent entitled to all of these terribly destructive things because youre special and you deserve it. Sure! Have a shitload of kids! Drive a car! Demand that animals be killed and mutilated for you every day! At least youre not a smoker! Fuckin get over it and take some time to concern yourself with the things in this world that will actually kill you, you spoiled rotten brats.

Blowing smoke
Just have to say, really, a few ciggies burning aint nothing to the amount of toxins all the whiners are inhaling from those hundreds of exhaust pipes burning past. I agree smokers need to stop chucking their disgusting butts all over everywherethey chuck them even on living plantsbut cmon the amount of crap you are breathing from car truck exhaust makes your whining about cig smoke really, really ridiculous. No one talks about how car exhaust has the same toxins in it as cigarette smoke and we are breathing much much more of it every day of our lives.

First of all, Im a polite and considerate smoker. Because of all you whining people I can no longer smoke in Stanley Park and 250 parks in Vancouver1000 acres in Stanley Park and I cant smoke in any spot, so much for being polite. What about secondhand car exhaust and diesel thats going in and around the park all day and night. Its 100 times more cancerous. You all forgot about the secondhand car exhaust on Robson Street, Georgia Street, West End and downtown. Which one is the real killer? PS: cigarettes are legal.

I am wondering why these cheap landlords/managers in the West End dont fly Canadian flags off the top of their buildings? Dont they have any pride or are they too bloody cheap to show a little patriotism? They used to fly a flag off the Landmark Hotel but it has been gone for about four years. Make an effort to show your pride in our country and buy a flag.

Stop living in the past
I agree this Olympic memorial garbage is corny and ridiculous. It gets even worse for me, and avid sports watcher, watching TSN Sports Centre and they show highlights of games that occurred over a year ago, yet they wont show one of the hundreds of college and pro basketball games or any highlights from that. I know not everyone is into basketball up here, but come on. A year ago? We know the result.
