Vancouver drivers might want to steer clear of Arbutus Street this weekend.
The province is advising motorists that Arbutus Street will be closed on Saturday and Sunday between West Broadway and Eighth Avenue to accommodate utility relocation work for the Broadway Subway project.
The stretch of road will be open again on Monday, but one lane will be closed at a time for paving and restoration.
Business and residential access will be maintained during the closure.
