Drivers will want to avoid taking the Port Mann Bridge this weekend as traffic will be limited to single-lanes in each direction.
The lane closures, expected to be completed by Sunday afternoon, are necessary for crews to complete the demolition of the old Cape Horn overpass, which in recent weeks has been replaced by a series of new overpasses that provide direct connections to and from Highway 1.
Construction on the new Port Mann Bridge is expected to be completed by December.
