Prepare to be singing in the rain at Skookum Festival this weekend.

The organizers are warning people not to bring umbrellas to the event in Stanley Park.

Citing security measures, they’ve been tweeting to festival-goers telling them not to bring “umbrellas, selfie sticks, tent or flag poles, or the like”.

They recommend “coming prepared for the forecasted weather with a raincoat in hand.”

With a 40 per cent chance of rain today and 100 per cent predicted for tomorrow, so you’re going to want to dress accordingly.
