Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in West Vancouver Thursday evening to attend a Liberal party fundraiser at the Gleneagles Golf Club on Marine Drive.
Supporters paid between $750 and $1500 a plate to attend the political fundraiser, according to information from the Liberals.
Earlier Thursday, Trudeau announced federal funding to build a hub for nuclear medicine at the TRIUMF facility at the University of British Columbia. The facility will research and develop radioactive medical isotopes used for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Trudeau also met with Vancouver mayor-elect Kennedy Stewart and Surrey mayor-elect Doug McCallum.
