Vancouver Fire Halls are accepting food and toy donations for those in need. Accepted items include non-perishable food for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and new unwrapped toys for children (no stuffed animals please), which will be distributed throughout the region by the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. All items can be dropped off at any of Vancouver's 20 fire halls between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Please drop off toys by Dec. 23rd. Food donations are accepted all year.
