A police incident shut down the Olympic Village Canada Line station for slightly more than anhour on Thursday afternoon.
People were asked to vacate the station shortly after 4 p.m.
Multiple emergency crews were on hand and several police officers blocked access to the station but no one from TransLink was there to answer commuters' questions.
That task was left to social media.
#SkyTrain Canada-Line service update: Shuttle train service is being set up to run between Waterfront and King Edward Station. Trains not stopping at Olympic Village Station. ^cm

From Richmond, trains will only run as far as King Edward Station. From there, you would need to transfer to either a Shuttle Train, a bus Bridge, or you can use the 15 Olympic Village bus to get to Broadway City Hall Station ^cm

And then, at 5:18, there was this:
#SkyTrain Olympic Village Station has re-opened! Service is resuming with residual gaps in service until train frequency is fully restored. We thank you all for your patience in this matter! ^cm
