"Mmmm..."
That was the sound heard round the WE Vancouver office when we received a sneak taste of some of the delicious foods that will be available at Compassion Into Action at the Vancouver Art Gallery on October 3.
Compassion Into Action is an annual pop-up organic café and marketplace where you can purchase delicious local organic food by donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
It took only minutes for our box of Nature's Path Love Crunch granola, Nature's Path choconut bar, So Nice chai vanilla drink, Ethical Bean Coffee and Happy Planet soup to disappear so count us in to stock up on Wednesday.
For every dollar spent at Compassion Into Action, the food bank can buy three dollars' worth of food to feed the 27,000 people who depend on it every week (26 per cent of whom are children).
This event is an opportunity for you to eat well and enable others to do the same.
Its from 7am to 3pm at the gallery's north plaza.
