A Vancouver man is facing second degree murder charges in the city’s seventh homicide of the year.
Police arrested 48-year-old Ngoc Chau Nguyen in the April murder of Minh Huu Dam outside a restaurant on Kingsway near Nanaimo Street.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on April 22, the two men, who knew each other, were arguing. The disagreement escalated into a fight and Dam, 55, was injured. He died a short time later in hospital.
Nguyen has been charged with second degree murder. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court again Sept. 4.
