Hold the phone. Just a few days ago meteorologists predicted no chance of a white Christmas in Metro Vancouver. Now our seven-day forecast is showing there could be a bit of snow headed our way Christmas Eve and Day.

The chance, mind you, remains small for serious snow, but Environment Canada indicates Vancouver has a 60 per cent chance of flurries for the night of Dec. 24, as well as all day and night Dec. 25.

Similarly, the Weather Network calls for “scattered flurries” for Christmas Eve and Day.

Temps will be in the 0 to 1°C range for both those days, though the overnight lows for Vancouver for when Santa and his sleigh are out making deliveries is expected to be around -2 to -4°C.
