• Warning: Video contains profanity
A four-year-old Facebook video has come back to haunt Port Moody mayoral candidate Rob Vagramov's election campaign.
In the profanity-laden clip, Vagramov filmed himself shotgunning a beer with a homeless person outside the Granville Street SkyTrain station in downtown Vancouver. He said to the camera that he was making the video after being nominated by another person on social media to conduct a random act of kindness.
"I was pretty excited to get f---ed up to be honest with you until I realized it was a random act of kindness nomination," he said into the camera. "So lets see if we can't do both and make somebody's day."
In the video, Vagramov asks a homeless man outside of the SkyTrain station if he is hungry and the man responds "of course."
Vagramov then says: "On one condition though. Do you know how to shotgun a beer?"
The two are then seen shotgunning the beer together.
The video was posted to YouTube on Sept. 5. As of Wednesday morning, 1,256 people had viewed the clip.
Late Tuesday night, Vagramov told Global News that he was uncomfortable watching the video today, but noted that it was made more than four years ago.
Vagramov was first elected to Port Moody council in the 2014 election.
More to come…
