WOMEN Grand Prix
As the women race past the checkered line for another circuit of the 30-lap Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix, Jenny Lehmann, wearing the white and sky blue kit of Trek Red Truck and Mosaic Homes, holds a seven second lead on the chase group.
She finished fourth overall, the fastest Canadian women in the field. She was edged out in the final sprint by Loren Rowney of Specialized Lululemon who won in 53 minutes, 25.13 seconds. Laura Van Gilder of Mellow Mushroom and Nicky Wangsgard followed in second and third.

A pack of more than 100 cyclists gains speed and climbs along Cordova Street after making a hairpin turn from Water Street. Volunteers manage the cross walk across the racecourse.
