You might have missed your chance to watch a Beatles, ABBA, Neil Young or Aerosmith concert, but their spirit lives on at Sun Peaks Retro Concert Weekend. On Aug. 18, the Kamloops area resort is hosting a weekend of tribute bands. If youre more keen to hear the real deal, Matthew Good (pictured at right) is unplugging his guitar for a solo concert at Sun Peaks on September 1. Warming the crowd up beforehand will be Vancouvers Vince Vaccaro, Alberta singer Wil and up-and-coming Vancouverite Stef Lang. Tickets for the retro weekend are free as part of your accommodation.
