The Tbirds have played pre-season exhibition games against Eastern Washington, Arizona, Oklahoma and Santa Clara. "Anytime you get a chance to suit up against top level athletes from a division one opponent, you take it," said UBC head coach Kevin Hanson, who starts his 14th season at the helm, in a news release. "This can only benefit our program."

Eight players return from the Tbirds 2013 conference championship team, including rookie trio Conor Morgan, Jordan Jensen-Whyte and Vancouver College grad Isaiah Solomon. Kitsilano big man Luka Zaharijevic will also lace up for his new team.

Tickets $10 for adults, $5 for youth, seniors, alumni and staff. $20 family pass for two adults, three children.
