One of Hollywood's most iconic leading men graced a Vancouver hotel lobby with his musical prowess over the holidays.
Sir Anthony Hopkins shared a video of himself playing the piano at the Shangri-La Vancouver on Dec. 22 ahead of Christmas Day.
"Something about a piano in an empty lobby...perfect venue," the star wrote in an Instagram post, playfully adding that he will be "coming to a city near you."
Many locals shared their thoughts about the Academy Award winners' hotel appearance in the comments, with several of them questioning if the song was something he had composed.
Several other people mentioned that they would have loved to stroll into the lobby to see him, while others pined for the actor to have coffee with them in the city.

Hopkins was also spotted in Vancouver in November when he had lunch at the Tasty Indian Bistro.
"Honour of having one of Britain’s most recognizable and prolific actors Anthony Hopkins dine with us for lunch today," the owners of the restaurant wrote on Instagram.
The Welsh actor most recently appeared in Rebel Moon, which is a Netflix sci-fi series about a peaceful settlement living on a moon that gets threatened by hostile forces.
