Vancouver really went to the dogs last weekend for the second-ever "Biggest Dog Meet-Up" event, organized by Dogs of Vancity.

Held March 25 at Trout Lake, the event aimed to bring together as many Vancouver dogs (and their owners) to convene in one place at one time.

While thousands RSVPd to the Facebook event page, not quite as many showed up, though it was well-attended.

There are plenty of pics and vids from the gathering, but one unique POV comes from Chester the wiener dog, who wore a GoPro camera to the event. (You may want to watch this without the sound, unless you want to have a pretty well-known canine pop hit as an earworm for the rest of your day.)

If you and your faithful four-legged friend missed out, fear not: There's another meet-up planned for June 24 at Lafage Lake in Coquitlam.
