Following a two-year hiatus, the Vancouver International Auto Show will be returning to the city in just a few months.
Kept behind the starting line by the COVID-19 pandemic, the auto show recently received its green light to go ahead. In its 102nd year, the show is set to highlight the latest advancements in vehicle developments, advanced safety systems, electric vehicles and EV charging advancements.
Blair Qualey, president and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of BC is thrilled to get the show up and running once more.
“After detailed planning and in-depth discussions with our valued partners, we are extremely excited to welcome back visitors to the Vancouver International Auto Show,” Qualey said in a recent release.
With major car manufacturers announcing big promises in terms of electrification in the next decade, it may come as no surprise the show’s main feature will be centred around electric vehicles.
The 2022 show is set to feature the largest electric and advanced technology showcase in the history of the event. The exhibit, EVerything EV, will include a significant electric vehicle display with EV’s from the world’s most important manufacturers, technology displays, electric charging displays and information. Show attendees can even test drive some electric vehicles and learn more about them from a panel of leading experts and industry specialists.
The show will be returning to the Vancouver Convention Centre West from March 23-27. For more information, you can check out the auto show’s official website.
