African popstar announces new tour, Vancouver concert at Rogers Arena

Vancouver is the first Canadian stop for Burna Boy
Nigerian Afrobeats singer Burns Boy announced a North American tour with a stop in Vancouver on Nov. 7, 2023.

Nigerian star Burna Boy revealed a string of Canadian concerts on his newly announced North American tour.

The Afrobeats singer rose to fame in 2012 following the release of "Like to Party." He's since featured on Justin Bieber's song "Loved by You" and Stormzy's single "Own It" with Ed Sheeran, while snagging himself a Grammy for Best Global Music Album in 2021, among other awards.

Burna Boy will be making stops across North America in support of his new record I Told Them, kicking off the tour in Los Angeles on Nov. 3 this year.

He'll begin his trek across Canada in Vancouver the following week, performing at Rogers Arena on Nov. 7 before continuing to Edmonton's Rogers Place on Nov. 9 and back to the U.S.A.

He'll venture back across the border in 2024, with shows in Toronto on Feb. 24 and Montreal on Feb. 28. The tour wraps up in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 9, 2024.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (Sept. 29), with presales starting tomorrow (Sept. 27) at noon local time. Tickets for the Vancouver concert can be bought online via Ticketmaster.
