Legendary artist Frank Molnar recently passed away, leaving his art legacy to carry one with his wonderful pieces.
Now those pieces are being auctioned off on Sept. 18 by Burnaby’s own Direct Liquidation.
Molnar dedicated his life to his craft and educating others in the fine arts as a professor at Capilano University for over 30 years.
He was an extensive art influencer to many young inspiring artists, including Charles van Sandwyk who’s one of the country’s top-selling illustrators.
“Vancouver art enthusiasts have a rare chance to win a Frank Molnar’s original painting” said Jeff Schwarz, who will lead the auction. “They are definitely unique pieces of art and whoever picks one up will certainly love it”.
Molnar’s work has been offered at multiple auctions with estimated prices ranging from $600 USD to $1,100 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork.
