As Canada gets closer to legalizing marijuana, the stage is set in pioneering spaces like Vancouver for high-profile cannabis-infused events to get the spotlight. This spring, Los Angeles-based The Herbal Chef is bringing his pop-up dinner party experience to Vancouver.

The Herbal Chef is actor Christopher Sayegh, who has built his rep on creating exciting food using local ingredients enhanced with THC and CBD extracts. On April 6 and 7, he'll host dinner events in Vancouver at a still-secret location that will be revealed to guests just prior to the evening.

The meal will be comprised of eight courses starring fresh, local ingredients, with each dish boosted with the use of cannabis.

For his Vancouver dinners, Sayegh will also bring to the table B.C. wine pairings, and promises an entertaining evening of next-level fine dining...with a cannabis twist.

Sayegh has been a proponent of the de-stigmatization of marijuana use, as well as its many uses for medicinal and culinary purposes. He's working towards opening Herb, a Los Angeles restaurant this year.

Each dinner will be open to 60 guests. Tickets are $200 apiece and include tip and a gift bag. To book, email herbalchefvan@gmail.com.
