It is now "o-fish-ally" open.
Castle Fun Park reopening July 2022
Abbotsford's Castle Fun Park has debuted its new mini golf course with an underwater theme that is a light-hearted joke about the attraction's devastating flooding in 2021.

A Fraser Valley amusement park unveiled its new attraction with a lighthearted reference to a devastating natural disaster.

Castle Fun Park in Abbotsford is a popular destination for go-karting, arcade games, bumper cars, axe throwing, mini golf, and more.

The amusement park closed due to damages from flooding that also caused massive floods and mudslides on several B.C. highways in 2021. Upon sharing the news that the theme park was submerged, the owners joked about having "three underwater mini golf courses.

The flood affected "every area" of the amusement park, resulting in an eight-month complete closure. Following its re-opening in summer of 2022, some areas of Castle Fun Park remained closed due to construction.

Now, Castle Fun Park has announced that its brand new mini golf course with an underwater theme is "o-fish-ally" open.

A spokesperson for Castle Fun Park told V.I.A. that the mini golf course opened on Friday, Sept. 29.
