Christmas markets and pop-up shops are coming to town with plenty of festive lights, local artisans, and festal goodies. 

From the popular German-inspired market to a brand-new holiday cat market, there are many occasions to shop local this season. 

Here are markets and pop-up shops happening around Vancouver over the holidays that are worth a visit: 

Circle Craft Christmas Market

This Vancouver tradition brings together over 250 artisans, from jewellers and potters to candle and soap makers to clothing designers. The market also has live music and a Gourmet Alley where visitors can taste a variety of flavours.

Heart to Home Holiday Market

Art and craft lovers can stop by this free annual market to explore artisan goods, including handmade chocolates and homemade jams, upcycled creations, ceramics, hand-knit scarves and hats, jewellery, paintings, prints, photographs, cards, and more.

This market is for aspiring and experienced plant parents alike. Grab a coffee and peruse this jungle-esque plant market.

Christmas Pawliday Market 

Vancouver is getting its first-ever holiday kitty market filled with toys, tidbits, and goodies for cats and their human companions, making shopping for your furry feline a treat.

Slice Mini Mart Days

This private workspace for local artists is hosting a series of mini markets for the holiday season. Every Saturday, the markets will have over 20 vendors, including artists, makers, thrifters, and collectors, and a clothing swap. The event is pup friendly too.

Make It Vancouver

The Make It Show is coming to the PNE with 250 vendors making clothing, accessories, art, home decor, gourmet goodies, baby and kid items and other unique goods. There will also be food trucks and a beer garden.

Better Together Market

Sustainable zero-waste household brand Better Basics has teamed up with other Vancouver-based women-led businesses to create a Christmas market that celebrates purposeful gifting. The Strathcona market will consist of wellness, clothing, and accessory brands and a latte bar from the Instagram-famous Blume and ciders from Windfall Cidery.
