I am thrilled to draw your attention to Design Lives, a new project being launched by Inform Interiors and IDSwest, supported by Vancouver Is Awesome.
Design Lives is an ongoing interview project that will catalogue the personal and professional stories of Vancouver's design community, conducted in the window of Inform Interiors at 50 Water Street in Gastown. Over the next 4 days they'll be kicking off with no less than a dozen interviews which you can go down and listen to/watch as they happen (bookmark the Design Lives site as they'll be posting a schedule) or simply wait and view them online. Subjects include Marian Bantjes, Omer Arbel, Brent Comber, Douglas Coupland, Bill Pechet and many more.
