Remember six months ago, before the summer sun, the extreme heat wave, and even the fairly dry spring?

It was winter, and even mild Vancouver got few notably snowy days. One of those February mornings local musician Scott Jacobs decided to take advantage of the rare sights.

"The video was shot as part of a crazy idea I had to record a music video in a snowstorm. So on a snowy morning in February we dragged down an old prop piano to Granville Island and shot this video," he writes in the YouTube description.

That music video is done now, and it's a great time to remember the cooler days.

Jacobs' song is "Vancouver Please," a ballad about the city.

"All of the Vancouverites out there might like this song about our hometown," he writes on Instagram.
