Ready to howl?

The annual Howloween event takes place in Burnaby this fall and promises over a full day of fun for people of all ages, interests, and backgrounds.

Considered a mini-furry convention, attendees will don a wide variety of anthropomorphic animal costumes. With that in mind, organizers note that event-goers don't have to wear "traditional" furry attire (full animal), and that other costumers are acceptable. Further, people are allowed to wear street clothes. They do, however, ask that everyone has keeps an open-mind.

The event will offer a dance hosted by talented DJs, "fursuit" games, events, art games, game shows, lots of hangout space, and general spooky fun. There will even be a dance competition for furries who know how to turn heads and bust some serious moves.

The fun takes place at the Executive Hotel and Conference Center on Nov. 1.
