An IKEA warehouse truly feels like an adult playground, and its even got its own candy store with sweet picks a plenty.
Now, adults can take the joyful shopping experience to the next level at the IKEA sleepover event this month. What's more, the retailer is making the event a full on IKEA PJ Party, so guests will have the opportunity to take part in a litany of fun activities (and take home swag, too!)
The fun-filled evening takes place at 11 participating IKEA stores across Canada on February 23, but Lower Mainland residents may partake at the Coquitlam or Richmond locations.
IKEA is having the event to celebrate the launch of their new Get Ready for Life theme, which is meant to inspire Canadians to see, "sleep as an essential part of life, enabling personal well-being and providing the tools to customers to recharge and regain balance within their homes."
The event will take place from 8 - 10 pm on the big night, when 200 guests take part in an evening of PJ-clad activities. Special activities include yoga, meditation, bedtime snacks and guidance from a sleep expert.
Following the party, 20 pre-confirmed winners will pick their own set of linens and tuck in for a great night’s sleep at IKEA in the bedroom section. What's more, these lucky guests receive a swag bag full of IKEA sleep essentials.
Swag bags will include: eye masks, ear plugs, housecoat and slippers, reusable water bottle, a breakfast voucher and coffee grounds. Guests will also take home their full bed linen set, including: sheets, mattress cover, duvet, pillows and blanket.
In order to sign up for the event you must be an IKEA family member. However, if you are not, you may become one before you sign up for the event. The event registration will end when they reach capacity (200 guests).
