This Japanese holiday market will feature over 70 vendors, food, and fun workshops

Immerse yourself in Japanese culture, get a bite of delicious food, and kick-start your holiday shopping at Japan Market Vancouver's upcoming Christmas Fair.

Immerse yourself in Japanese culture, get a bite of delicious food, and kick-start your holiday shopping at Japan Market Vancouver's upcoming Christmas Fair.

This admission-by-donation event is open to everyone, and will feature over 70 vendors featuring a variety of items and services, including art, crafts, merchandise, and more.

The event takes place on Sunday, November 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A "VIP only" hour is available to access for ticket-holders who pre-purchase online; admission to the VIP hour is $4 for one person or $7 for two people.

Packaged Japanese foods will be available for purchase on-site.

Additionally, you can purchase tickets to any of three sessions of cultural workshops offered at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. that include instruction in calligraphy, followed by basic Japanese language, and a culture discussion focused on Kyoto. The 12:30 p.m. session includes a unit on Yukata/Kimono dressing and is priced higher at $25; the following two sessions are each priced at $18.

Where: Robson Square - 800 Robson Street, Vancouver

Cost: Admission by donation. VIP shopping hour is $4-7. Cultural workshops are $18-25.
