The first Richmond Pride Walk was held in 2023. This year it takes place in Steveston on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

From the annual Pride walk to a farmers market, there's something for everyone in Richmond this weekend.

1. Pride walk

In honour of Richmond Pride Week and Vancouver Pride 2025, the third annual Steveston Pride Walk will take place this weekend.

The family-friendly walk will start at Bayview Street and No. 1 Road across from Starbucks and will continue along the waterfront for one kilometre.

Participants are encouraged to arrive at 10:30 a.m. for a selfie station, facepainting, music and booths.

The City of Richmond is also holding multiple Pride events this month, including film screenings, fitness and swim sessions, Drag Queen Story Time and Drag Queen Karaoke as well as talks with 2SLGBTQI+ community leaders.

Date: Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Bayview Street and No. 1 Road

2. Cat Sanctuary

Visit some cats at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary.

The cat sanctuary is among the largest in North America and houses cats that have been abandoned or surrendered.

Date: Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Location: 3380 No. 6 Rd.

3. Farmers market

Drop by the Steveston Farmers and Artisans Market this weekend for some homemade goods.

B.C. locals will be selling fresh produce, prepared foods and crafts.

Event is rain or shine.

Date: Sunday, July 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Garry Point Park, 12011 Seventh Ave.
