The Insano World Tour was cancelled and Kid Cudi will not perform at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C. in August. The rapper broke his foot at Coachella.

Kid Cudi will not be playing a show in Vancouver this summer but it isn't the first time he has cancelled a show in the city.

Fans have taken to social media to express disappointment with the Cleveland, Ohio-born lyricist's announcement that he will not proceed with his Insano World Tour. It was slated to kick off in Austin, Texas on June 28 and make numerous stops in the United States and Canada before stopping in Vancouver on Aug. 24.

The rapper shared a message on X, formerly Twitter, stating he'd broken his foot at Coachella, the annual outdoor music festival in California.

"There's just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100 (per cent)," the rapper remarked, adding that anyone who purchased tickets would get a refund and "an email soon."

Scores of fans expressed sympathy for Cudi, wishing him a speedy recovery. Others were shocked that another one of his tours was getting cancelled again.

Ticketmaster says fans "don't need to do a thing" and the company will refund payments to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase "as soon as funds are received from the event organizer."

According to the website, the refunds should appear on the ticketholder's accounts within 14-21 days.

Kid Cudi cancelled a Vancouver show in 2022

Many of the fans who were excited to see Kid Cudi in Vancouver this summer previously had tickets to see him play in 2022.

The rapper was supposed to perform at Rogers Arena on Aug. 16, 2022, as part of his To The Moon World Tour but later cancelled his performance after postponing it.

Fans were less sympathetic about the 2022 cancellation because it was at the last minute and not for a medical reason. Also, some of them said they struggled to get refunds.

One local wrote on X that they had waited two months and "still I haven't receive any refunds from Kid Cudi Vancouver cancellation" adding: "Please help, Ticketmaster."

Vancouverite Amanda Matheson expressed her frustration by simply writing that the Vancouver show was "cancelled again."

Superfan Abigail Tankian seemed devastated that she won't see Kid Cudi in August in Vancouver, writing that this "would've been my 4th attempt in trying to see you since 2015. You're too old to be jumping around. Wishing you a speedy recovery but damn, it's like I'm not meant to see you. Ugh."

The frustrated fan had previously attempted to fly out and see the rapper in 2022 only to receive a notification that the show was cancelled days in advance.
