A new rosé wine festival is coming to Vancouver in summer 2023.

A new summer wine festival is coming to Vancouver at the end of July but with a twist.

The Rosé Disco is part party, part afternoon picnic, and part wine tasting, taking place at the PNE Fairgrounds with DJs Felix Cartel, Young Bombs, My Gay Husband, and Niña Mendoza.

Attendees are required to follow a pink and white dress code, kind of like Dîner en Blanc, and will have the opportunity to sample over 25 local and international rosés.

For food, people can pre-order artisanal picnic boxes by Cocktails and Canapes or try out food stations like a taco bar by The Pawn Shop, wood fire pizza from Little Devils, shucked oysters by the Wandering Mollusk, or Greek food from Loula's. There will also be a Risotto Party pop-up and a Lee's Donut stand for something sweet.

The picnic boxes are available for two, four, or 10 people and contain meats, cheeses, crackers, a seasonal summer rosé marmalade, marinated feta pasta salad, B.C. summer berry trifle, and chocolate chip cookies.

Tickets start at $30 but will increase in price to $55 as the event gets closer; they include the cost of admission, a souvenir tasting cup, and the DJ performances. Once inside, drinks will range in price from $6.50-$13, plus tax.

The event will take place rain or shine.
