Nicki Minaj broke hearts all over Vancouver after she announced a world tour that doesn't include a stop in the city.

Nicki Minaj will not be making a stop in Vancouver on her upcoming world tour and locals aren't happy about it.

The American rapper announced her Pink Friday 2 World Tour on Monday, Dec. 11, which includes stops in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and France.

The Queen of Rap will kick off her tour in Oakland, California on March 1, 2024, and make several stops in U.S. cities before visiting the Great White North in April.  She will perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on April 17 and then in Toronto on April 18 at the Scotiabank Arena.

For Vancouver fans, the closest show will be in Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena on March 10.

Minaj released her fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2, on her birthday, Dec. 8, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Her latest release features collaborations with multiple artists, including prolific rappers like J. Cole, Lil Wayne, and Drake.

Vancouver fans praised the album on social media, offering glowing reactions to Minaj's new music and the rapper herself.

Fans say a Vancouver stop had been on Minaj's website

But only a few days later, numerous locals expressed frustration that the rapper wasn't making a stop in Vancouver on her upcoming world tour. According to some of them, Vancouver was originally on the star's website as a planned stop.

One fan said they "will be waiting for Vancouver to be added," while another begged: "Nicki! Please, please, please reconsider and add Vancouver, Canada as a date I’ve been waiting years to see you again!"

In tour posts on social media, Minaj indicates that more "more shows" will be added following the ones in Germany.
